Mark Jarmon’s poetry has appeared in multiple print and online journals, and his work has been nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize. He is the former co-owner and co-founder of the Atlantic Poetry Guild, an organization dedicated to the preservation of traditional poetry through teacher development and public readings. Mark is also a member of the Surf Poets Society, a group of artists based in Honolulu, Hawaii who create art about the poetic aspect of surfing.

An avid waterman, Mark can be found early mornings swimming laps at the local pool, paddling on the river even in winter, or catching some summer waves on his surfboard. Mark Jarmon lives at the Jersey Shore with his wife and two daughters.
